I was thinking how fix a stretched frame from a diamond frame and decided to try it out in Gimp, a Linux image program.
I know that 26 balloon tires have about the same diameter as a 28 inch wheel, so i matched the wheelsize with a stretched cruiser and made three cuts: one in the toptube, then detached the downtube and lower rear stay from the bottom bracket like this:
My plan is to bend the downtube backwards, the seattube forwards and the seatstays upwards, i could,nt figure out how to do a bend, but i hope you get the idea:
Then i would only need to fill in three gaps like this:
Fixed! If anyone has advice, tips, and/or comments especially about bending the seat and downtube i,d love to hear them.
