This one gives you a better feel for what I was doing. The bike is actually behind me and I was taking a photo of the mirror.

Kat, the trick with the details is making them work together and not look like a cobbled piece of crap. The build off is a time that all of us learn from each other. I am always driven by the amazing work that the other builders perform here. It's quite a unique virtual environment. Hope to see you in Build Off 9!!!

Okay, this build is pretty much finished. I just realized tonight one small item that I haven't done. I have always meant to paint the fake vent ribs that are on the front top of the tank halves and chainguard. So before I call Firewing done, I am going to lay down some flat black stripes on those followed by some creme. Don't know if I'll do it tonight or in the morning. I don't have any other surprises to add or anything. What you see is what you get. I am very happy with how she turned out.

Went for another photo ride tonight. I'll post photos later, but now I need to go spend some time with QueenFish, so she won't feel completly like a bike widow.

I'll leave y'all with this for now.

Thanks, it helps that I live in the heart of 280 year old major tourist city.

I did another 2.5 hour after work bike ride tonight. I don't think I posted a FW photo in front of the Forsyth Park fountain yet.

This is another one of my standard shots in Forsyth Park. The Confererate War Memorial

I used this spot in Forsyth for Flexy last year. I knew the terra cotta would work well with Firewing

I may go back to the bandshell for better lighting on this one.

Went back to the old warehouse to catch the setting sunlight again. It really makes the tires pop.

Especially on the loading dock that I found
