My wife's Uncle had just given these to me today...
Columbia Middle Weight: Can't find a serial # on it ?????????????
and a Sears Free Spirit 20"

Try the sprocket side dropout too, I think they're on it during those early 60s models. I have a S/N list too, when you find 'em! -Adam

Thanks Adam...I've been busy on the other builds, so I didn;t get to it yet today. (Building a build off bike and a Klunker)
I've got some big plans for it though.
 
So I located the serial # ... E237016 <> making this a 1959 Columbia.
Right now I'm trying to figure out the model...all I have to go on is just from the chain guard.
