Very cool!!!!
The Caddie Tail light look good..
The handles shaved look even better..

Have you ever thought about Droppin it down a bit.
Maybe a Static Lowering job.
Some Blocks in d'rear...and Chop the Front coils.

Dead Level, no Rake???

very nice ride October,
peace,
Kev.

it does have a bit of rake, however, the front is very low...

you cant tell from the pics but the front bumper is maybe 6 inches off the ground... the collectors scrape when you make a turn... and it will bottom out if you look at it wrong...

originally these cars sat very high in the front, it looked like it was going uphill on level ground.
so i wanted to keep some rake to accentuate how low the front is, and wanted to try to avoid the "lowrider" association that impalas are know for.

those tail lights were interesting to fit, i really had to do some fabrication to get them to fit inside the stock bezels...

i did all the work myself, with the exception of the bodywork and paint, and my father helped me rebuild the engine and trans...

Those progress pic's are great..
and I know what you mean when you say..

"avoid the Impalla Lowrider Look"

It looks great October...and I've always been a Fan of the Chrome Reverse Rims with Dog Dish Caps.

The cool thing with those is you can also buy a cheap set
of Dog Dished.....Paint then the same color as the Body,
and throw them on when you go to different shows or Runs.

I love the Chrome on Chrome look...but I'm also
a sucker for the Cap/Body color...or Rim/Body color combo.

I love it..I grew up on Chev's...and I still love em.
Yours looks great Shaved and decked!!!!!

peace,
Kev.

very very nice i like customs that keep the natural lines of the car in tact and just add a few things here and there like the tail lights. personally i like the stance slammed cars look cool but suck to drive around lol. i like to be able to go in and out of parking lots with out much drama having to crab it and all like i did in my old 72 vw squareback. that sucker would knock a pack of smokes over sitting sideways
