Double Huffin'

We went to the second hand bike shop in town today to pick up my next project( American made aluminum Huffy MB for a shifter motored bike). Outside the door was a killer old school tandom that caught my eye. As we do our deal for my bike, I asked the dude what's up with the tandom? He says not fore sale....bbbuuuuttt.... I have another one that you may want...(This dude rocks!!!)

Long story short, it is a Huffy. It is all complete. It is 'merican. We got it for $50.

We gots us some kool idears for thissun!

Killer lines, whats your plans for it?

Springer forks, new wheels & tires. Maybe later on a Nexus 3 speed, a 2 stroke and a jackshaft shifter kit.

Cool find. Here is a photo of a Western Flyer tandem we had last year, which appears to be a pretty similar frame. I personally believe the WF frame had a few design flaws, creating a very unbalanced ride. Hopefully you have a much better bike and experience.

We ultimately sold the WF and switched over to the Schwinn tandem shown below.

I have been kicking the idea around of using a chain guard off of a Dyno Roadster.
