I searched to see if there were any threads I could post this in but couldn't find any. Everyone here loves old bikes and custom built bikes, and that goes for old cars also. Found this mind boggling entirely hand built Dwarf 1949 Mercury. Talk about mad building skills... enjoy the photo and video! :D :D :D

There was a guy in Norway a few years ago cut up a few old VW bugs and made a smaller scale version rat rod bug like the above car for his kid. I'll try to find it.
 
Found it.

I remembered seeing this a couple of years ago, this guy from Finland decided to make a mini rat-rod bug for his kid so he cut up :oops: (I hope they were completely beyond restoration) a few other cars to make one. The metal work involved is amazing, he kept the overall lines of the beetle the same. It makes a 'regular' restoration of a car look like a walk in the park. He used lead to fill in the welds, :shock: . I think it was powered by an 8hp lawnmower engine. Don't you wish your Dad was this cool???
