What about adding some class(ic) to this thread... ;-)

My Wife was very annoyed with me when I missed out on buying 2cellos tix earlier this year. They do seem like they would be very entertaining
Class(ic) you say?
I'm more of an acoustic guitar cover listener, however I found this metal cover of Gorillaz "Feel Good Inc." to be pretty dang good! The solo starting around 2:20 has kind of a Korn vibe to it.
Leo does some really good covers, he puts out a new video every Friday.
He did an acoustic version of Slipknot's duality.
I really like the girls but harp is a liiiittle bit to soft...
But nevertheless I got something completly different for you out there (mostly) over the big pond.
Straight from the heart of the european continent, a song that most of the swiss take for a swiss original. But in fact it's a cover from a early 50ties american song. The male singer is a swiss music hero and died earlier this year. He made singing in swiss german very popular by adapting mainly english songs into my native language but also writing his own songs.
A flashback to the 80ies, Polo Hofer with Giggerig (roughly translates as horny)
Who can tell me the original song?
You've got me stumped on that one.
I thought I would take this way outside of the expected covers and share this one from 1983 that covers 'Paradox' by Kansas. This is by the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corp. drum line from Concord California filmed in Miami Florida.
I'm in this playing multi tenor drums but unfortunately there's not a clear shot. You can see my left arm at the left edge of the screen @1:26. lol
Why is it that it's our arms that get the 15 minutes?
In the Godsmack video awake that's about all you can see of me too.
My new favorite band.
This is getting way crazy. Just before checking into this thread and seeing your vid I was watching a crossover from the blue devils drum corps with the Top Secret Drum Corps from Basel Switzerland...
No cover but...
Cool, I wondered if anyone else here would have any idea what drum corp is!
My time in the Blue Devils drum line is something that I'll never forget. Such a great experience!
We were world champions the year that I was in it, but the stuff that they are doing these days takes it to a whole new level.
Here's 20 for the price of one.
Frank Turner, an english (punk) folk singer who's one of my very favourite singers covering Born To Run. We like this version so much that when I married my partner of 16 years a couple of weeks ago this was played for our first dance.
I'm sure some of you probably feel this way about an ex...
This is just my opinion, but I personally think Iron Maidens (run to the hills) is the best Rock/Metal song ever.
Also think this guy did it well.
