Thats pretty funny , from the looks of the photo , gas was probably 15 cents a gallon. Cheap transportation though.

Non-Brand Name Gas could still be had in 1966 for 19.9 per gallon. It would drive the Jeep all night for $2.00. Ever wonder why they don't make Muscle Cars like they used to? 66' was a very good year!
