BONINE Tanks

    Has anyone else noticed how many cool tanks are being done this year?
    They are made out of car tags, plexiglass, fiberglass, wood, pedal tractors, steel etc.
    Below are just a few that come to mind, but there is some very creative and cool tank work going on out there!!!

    Cool thread Idea! Yea ive noticed all the sweet tank ideas this yearc too. Its been my plan since the beginning to make a tank for my bonine build, so hopefully Ill post a pic here soon! Nice one KF :grin:

    You're right, there has been some cool ones showing up this year. It can be a focal point for a bike, so a unique tank can make all the difference.

    OK, it's now in primer so it doesn't look like a T-Rex bone anymore. Haha! After thinking about it for awhile, they're might be something to building a "bone" bike. I'm not really into the whole theme bike thing but maybe a Fred Flintstone inspired bike??

    yeah we had a zombie thing goin in one of the threads before BONINE started... bones would be good on a zombie bike...

    Here is mine it is competed just needs assembly of exhaust pipes and to be mounted to the frame:

    and a close up of the graphic, which is an actual Buick Roadmaster emblem. I hand drew this and then had a sign shop cut it into a stencil so it is all painted on the checkers are also painted on:

    Thanks! the bike is almost done now. The tires are Thick Slicks by Freedom Bicycle I got them at my local LBS, they're like 60 bucks a set.
