Been awhile since I have posted. Work picked up, and other things and recent events have kept me extra busy.

Tis the start of the fall/winter mountain biking season in Vegas. I broke my 'll double bar clunker last month, so I pulled the 40 snyder frame out for another go round.

I reused parts form a few builds for this year's bomber to ride.

The parts.

Custom leather top bar pad

Proline cranks with a root beer colored ring.
TRS Sealed bottom bracket bearings.
Micargi triple tree (treadless)
Red line neck
90s Honda CR250 bars.

Very cool ! Where can I get a fork like that ?
I found this fork on on ebay about a year ago for a decent price.

I bought a threadless adapter at the same time so I didn't have to thread it. Still thinking I might put threads on it at some point and change back to the SR neck

Great build, love the bars, I have some unknown mx bars now but they sweep back too much, those are what I need.

Is the fork mostly for looks or does it ride differently with longer wheelbase.

The fork was the strongest thing I had on hand. I went thru two other forks on this frame and either bent them, or didn't care for them after putting 20 or so miles on them.

Yes, the longer base does help with my riding style as well. This thing rides like a slightly heavy bmx.

Still need more time on it. May run the wash tomorrow.
