I only had a short time to work on it tonight (stuck late at work again) so I just put on the rear wheel and adjusted the chain

Making better progress than me.
But I do like the stance it has already, plus the felt inspired gusset.
Might have to steal the stolen.

Im loving that deep 6 panel

Bike is turning out great love the look of that low line holly race panel . I wonder how another one would look between the seat post and rear fender . Maybe to much but then again it may look that much more racy

I wanted to do something different on this one

One step forward, one step back; the seat post I bought went about an inch into the seat tube nicely, trying to force it farther got it stuck to the point I had to put it in the vice and twist the frame off. Plan B is to use the original shims

and bend a piece of 5/8 steel

the seat I want to use has a 7/8 clamp, I found a 5/8 to 7/8 shim

I'll bring it to work and have one of the mechanics weld it on

got it from this company

cost 2 dollars and some change so I got a few. Lesson learned, test fit everything even if you "know" it's gonna fit! On a positive note I finished the chain guard

I cut the curve on the bottom edge, copied the original graphics in the color I painted the rims and mounted it with more brass screws

getting closer...

I like the speed holes in the guard.

It's a rider! Took way longer than it should have for the amount of work I did compared to some of you guys but I'm happy with how it came out. I've gotta put some test ride miles on it and take some pictures but assembly is finished :) thank you all for the kind words, encouragement and suggestions, it's been a blast building a bike with you guys!

Turned out nice!
I still think you need to ride through a desert so that you can have have a cool theme song.
