Greetings New England Rat Rodders and our cycling friends wherever you may be!

BIKE NEW LONDON announces our event calendar for 2012! Hope you are able to make it to the Connecticut shore for some of our rides and special events.

Saturday March 31st: Bike Share Bike Build Day: Join our volunteers to service the Bike Share fleet and bring the bikes out of storage for 2012. 10:00AM, meet at Bean & Leaf, 13 Washington St.

Sunday April 1st: Bike Share New London reopens for 2012 at Water Street Garage

Sunday April 22nd: Spring Cleaning Ride: Meet at Bean & Leaf, 13 Washington St., for a ride to Riverside Park and Conn College Arboretum (weather permitting) 2:00 PM

Saturday May 26th: Over-the-Bridge Ride. Meet at Mr G's, 452 Williams St, New London, to UCONN- Avery Point in Groton via the Gold Star Bridge Bike Lane, 2 PM

July 6th to July 8th: OpSail 2012. Bike New London will be providing Bike Share bicycles for visitors to our city.

Saturday August 25th, Summer Ride to Harkness Park, meet at Fort Trumbull State Park, 12 noon

Saturday September 1st, 12-3PM, 4th annual Bike Fest! New London
Waterfront Park- Safety Info, Cycling Maps, Free Helmets, Custom
Bike Show, Races, Food and Fun for kids of all ages!


Saturday September 1st, 7:30 PM, Meet at Fort Trumbull State Park for the
Moonlight Ride! Proper gear required for a nighttime ride under the full moon to Ocean Beach Park.

Thursday November 1st: Bike Share New London closes for the season. Volunteers needed to move bikes to winter storage.

Rob, what kinda miles you doing on 4/22 ? You know the Achey Bones like to go thru the the gears, 16-20 miles.
Any chance that will happen on this run ? :) We like New london ,too....Stevil
PS: I still have that Tyler chainguard for you.
