Well after my bicycle accident I couldn't do my job as well due to backpain so I got a different job and moved to a small town in Arizona. I was able to reuse my wheels and rims( thanks for my friend at Bike Worx) from my Typhoon on my new to me Cruiser so it now has the 2 speed kickback. Yellow chain to match the yellow kickback hub....why not?

Next is how bent my frame is. Not sure if you can see how wide the forks are now but I think that I can fit a fat tire in there now, I'm not going to though. Also the handle bars are flatter on one side than the other.

This is my wall of goodies. Working on 2 POS china schwinn's for my sister and one with my son so he'll know how to fix his stuff while in college or on his mission when he goes.

If you need some help with the bikes on the wall, there's a Nishiki Alien, 1948 Humber Sports 4 speed with Raliegh handle bars, Gunnar Rockhound, 2 Schwinn Riverside's that I'm fixing up with my son. Not photo'd are my 73 Schwinn Suburban, 96 Schwinn Homegrown FS, 79 Schwinn Le Tour( currently stripped and waiting for me to pull the trigger on paint) and my son's Gary Fisher Joshua X4.

The kickback cruiser looks good.
Those old Schwinns were well made, I would take my time and try to straighten that green Typhoon frame.

I loved the frame but the gooseneck had a crack and allowed years of water to build up the rust in there. I tried with my good friend to get it loose but no dice. We did oils, muscle and even fire and she didn't budge. I might end up later straightening it but who knows right now.
