My main ride- an On-One 456 Carbon w/X-Fusion Velvet fork. This thing wanted to go FAST today:

Re: Carbon SS

My pride and joy- 83 Lawwill-Knight Pro Cruiser:

I've had it configured more MTB-style, but it's pretty much like this right now. Inverted Profile stem, Powerlite Powerbend bars.

Re: Carbon SS

Had a full-suspension SS for a bit- 99(IIRC)Cannondale Scalpel. Too twitchy, sold it.

Climbed like a homesick angel

First SS Scalpel I've seen. I want one.
It is a very good base for a quick, XC SS. Light, nimble & the suspension is so minimal that it does not suffer much from pedal-induced bobbage; very important if you intend to pedal up any decent hill. I found it too twitchy for me on the downhills though, having gotten very accustomed to the Pro Cruiser. The 456 is much more like the PC in the handling dept, but w/far more reliable(read*newer than 80s-era  )parts. My wife has one from the same year and LOVES it- that kept the fires burning for the longest time.
