90's GT LTS 2000 and Marzocchi bomber fork

Yesterday i ended up buying this late 90's GT LTS 2000 bike
i thought it look pretty funky and its pretty light.. picked it up for $60, not a bad price, and besides you cant go wrong with a GT
do u guys know what its worth? i'm curious, let me know thanks!!

I kinda straddle the line between *rider* &'*collector* so I am no expert in either arena- but I'd guesstimate a value of a couple-hundred to 3/4 Hun, in the pictured condition. Neat bike- kinda too-long travel to be terribly popular, but very interesting aesthetically.

i thought it was pretty neat when i saw the bike.. i think the thing that interests me the most on the GT is the way the shock is designed.. i think i'mma fix her up and end up selling it!

Yeah, I liked the looks of those bikes, and they rode alright IIRC(I worked in a bike shop that dealt GT at the time- a coworker had one for awhile). If you bump into some old fart wanting to buy back some memories you could get lucky and quadruple your money! :mrgreen:
