'56 Schwinn American

Picked this up this morning. Crusty red 50's style Schwinn grips and a Bendix rear hub on an old S-7. Someone had used it as an exercise bike at one point (why the bars are turned around and front wheel gone)

Washed, given a once over, HD Sun Rims and HD Spokes, new tires and different bars.

I'm really liking this bike.

It's still very, very cold outside...

Looks like it has great patina. I like those bars. Both for looks and comfort.
