$450 ASKING Huntington Beach CA 3G Sturgis nexus internal hub 7 speed front disc brake found at Garage sale for sale. I did not buy this bike but can share the owners info with interested parties, the owner gave me permission. I figured this was so unusual and some one might really want one so I would share with you guys. If anyone is interested message me for his info.
I've always felt these were weird looking too, but the wackiness and adjustability of the handlebars has always intrigued me.
I think Gary was smoking something when he came up with this one. It would be interesting to ride though....he has always been obsessed with ride quality and comfort.
I should also mention that the front end took a minute to get used to it was kind of wobbly back and forth..
Here's proof that I saw this Jackalope in person, just in case there are any non believers out there.
Is that 26'' ? i've never seen or heard of this bike but the componets disc brakes , that fork is Killer, spring seat ,internal hub, Slicks ! Great parts ...Just thinkin of the possibilities ~Rafael~
Many cool parts however I could not justify $450 worth. I really had a hard time justifying $300, if he would of even taken that. Lol. It's a 24 inch back and a 26 inch front wheel.
I think Kingfish had his chance at one of these before. If you swapped out the fork and bars with something more tame like a set of triple trees and some regular cruiser bars it might not look as crazy. It just has too much inspector gadget going on in one bike.
Too tell the truth , if I wasn't working on a few projects already, I would love to have it. ~Rafael ~
I have never seen so many ideas fit into such a small space before. It's glorious but not in a way the makes me spend that much money on. - by Gigmata
Yeah, there was this one on CL from Alabama or Tennessee. I don't remember the price, but it was more than I was willing to pay. http://www.ratrodbikes.com/forum/index.php?threads/3g-sturgis-chopper.93147/
