Seen this today at my friends house and was wondering if anyone knows what it might be? Didn't see any numbers it has probably about 5 layers of paint and didn't want to scratch the paint off something that wasn't mine.

early 70s AMF ...could have been a Renegade, Aerobee, Big Deal or similar. I don't know what years, or for how long, they made the straight downtube frames...but, I'm sure a knowledgeable muscle bike guy could give you an idea (I have an AMF frame that looks very similar to this, but in 26"
