20" FATBIKE for your kids

Specialized jumped in full force on Fat bikes. They make a 20,24, and 26" versions. Who would spend $1000 on their kids for 1 or 2 years?

I bought a 20" Massif for my nephew. Because the tires are so fat, it ups the size of the bike so a 20" bike wasn't a good fit until he was 8. But he and his dad on the Dolo I gave him at the same time have been a hit every where they ride.

$1k for the Specialized will sell to some parents who want something unusual for their kids and won't buy "bicycle shaped objects" from wallymart. I sure don't see it being a big seller.

When I bought my specialized mtb in 2003, I bought the 2002 model, brand New, 75 percent off.

Agree with patman, in a year or three they will be on craigslist for cheap.

speaking of Specialized bikes....I just bought my kiddo a 16" HotRock for Christmas.....I *THINK* that the 16x3 tires I have will fit on it too!
