1981 schwinn cruiser 5

Picked this up today for a heck of a deal. My intentions were to cut it up and make a swing bike out of it but when I picked it up and looked closer the paint and chrome wasn't that bad. Now to find and s2 chrome rim and relace it with an acs schwinn hub,clean it and flip this sucker!

wow thats OG!! it should clean up great! If thats an Araya on the front you should have no prob trading it for an s-2

I like it. Is the chrome fork a Schwinn part? I've seen them with painted forks before, too.

The front wheel is kinda neat- looks HD. Might be worth something.

Thanks everyone! The front wheel is actually a generic wheel i had with maxxis holly roller tire. I had to bring one to throw the bike on top of my roof rack.

Kinda but I was looking and I am still looking for a march 1982 built frame.
