I picked this bike up a couple of weeks ago for the wife. It is amazingly well kept and looks great. For some reason the red band Bendix hub would not turn the wheel. It could be cranked forward and backwards without any movement of the wheel! I took it completely apart and found it caked and dried grease. I got new tires and tubes on it and it rides smooth as silk now. Sometime in it's life someone painted the rims silver. I haven't cleaned those up as of yet and may just leave them alone. The wife is not too happy with the comfort and position of the seat so I have a new seat on the way and a laidback seat post thanks to ratrodcustomz!
