The last of my New Years Eve score. I had already made the deals on the Firestone Super Cruiser and Edwards and Crist. The LaSalle had Persons teardrop pedals and I asked if he would sell them. He couldn't find a wrench so he sold me the whole bike for my paltry offer (I was pert near broke by then). No that is not a flip-flop hub for a he-man, in its' past, someone attempted to motorize it. The sprocket is off something that I should recognize but can't place. It had a heavy rubber sleeve around the ND hub to shim it which makes one wonder how hot the hub would be if the motor conversion was a success. It also had a repair made to the seat stays that is, uhm, novel. Fortunately, the repair was brazed making it easy to un-repair and weld it more betterer. The bars are going on my shop bike Toad. Pedals and crank are going on the Edwards and Crist. The Lasalle frame is getting Klunked, or more correctly, bombered.
