She loves it! They are spoke wraps. They are plastic and fit tightly around the spokes. Not like the "straws" when we were kids. I think I got them on Amazon. $29.95. They look good up close.

I bought a Brutus in July that I did mods to and decided I want to get a Beast for winter riding since I don't want to mess up my Brutus. Anyway, I've been watching the price on the black Beast online at Wal-Mart and Amazon. The price has gone up nearly $50 in three days! What's up with that...
