Finally got around to building a dust proof box for my shed/patio system.
Plywood with a nice curved piece of perspex
Plenty of outlets, all switched on/off by a switch on the outside of the box
4 channel amp for 2 speakers in the shed and 2 on the patio.
Mini Lepai amp powering...
That is very cool!
Look forward to seeing the end result on the whole bike.
I make rusty metal art and experiment a lot with hydrochloric acid, bleach, vinegar etc to create "patina".
:)
Should work ok with a bit more shaping. :)
I welded a bolt to a crossbar between the supports and have secured it with wing nuts at the moment.
It needs one more bolt half way along to pull it all in line.
Just need to get all that paint off so it can rust haha
So I made some new supports
The guard will wrap around nicely after a bit of panelbeating and trimming
It should be strong enough like that and not need any more supports, so it will look like it's just hovering in thin air.
:)
Yeh, that front mesh guard has to go.
I found a wheelguard from a slightly bigger bike.....
Should make for a nice wrap around guard......maybe with some hole drilling it'd look ok...
:)
Some stats
The frame is about 700mm long from head to crank.
I added 400mm to the forks
Apehangers are 600mm tall, 250 wide and the top bars 400mm long.
:)
Yeh thinking about how to incorporate a rear guard in to seat support or sissy bar.
Have a few different kinds of mesh and sheet metal stuff to play with as well.
:)
Good stuff.
Love it
I've been thinking of building an ornamental bike with saw blade wheels, barbwire seat and everything welded shut.
I might one day
:)

Love your work.
Cheers :)

Yeeeeesssss I still need to finish the Rat Poison chopper which has got a nice ratty patina by now.
Just had tooooooooooo many other things on the go.
Most of them rusty ratty things.
It's good to be back on the forum again...
