    Believe it or not 1947... Serial No. A60422 CW. March-June of 1947 everything on it is original, but for some reason at some point in it's life the tank was changed with a later original, as well as the fenders. The first yr. Luxury Liners had black fenders. The seat is an original Troxel...

    If that tank is original to the bike...... Then it most probably had truss rods.

    You should need the enclosed guard, they can be tough to find. But they pop up time to time.
