Wow, those were pricey new! I had a black one, it was sitting around the store a couple years, and was still 3 or 400 bucks. That was a lot for a kid in school back then! The aluminum rims were no match for bumpy NJ streets though. I had to find a Varsity and swap rims. Eventually it was stolen at school. -Adam

The bike was around 350$ back in 1988, is next one like quality after the Paramount models.
I have a 1972 Schwinn Sports Tourer with Campanollo derailleurs, filled-brazed Chrome-moly frame , which was 196$ new.
