.. Anyways Here are my finds from the Fall Swap Meet in Petit Jean this year. I wen't on the last day because prices are always lower when people are packing up to go home. Got all of this stuff from the same guy..
1. 24" Boys bike. I'm pretty sure that its a Coast King but the badge has been painted over. Chrome is in great shape, been repainted but still nice. Love that star sprocket.
2. Goodyear Hi-Way Patrol Frame. Got this in a package deal with the other bike. Has some problems, dent in the back that bent the rear dropout in.. but should be an easy fix. The Rest of the frame is straight though. Also has a small crack along the bottom edge of the top tube. Badge says "Goodyear Hi-Way Patrol". Badge is in great shape. I can fix it, but I have too many other projects. This frame is for sale if anyone wants it.. just make me a reasonable offer
3. By FAR the coolest thing I've ever bought. I wear nothing but Hi-Top Converse shoes, like literally I have about 8 pairs. The guy I got the bikes from had this old Store Display from the 60's for "Bata Bullets Shoes" sitting on the edge of his trailer. It has a hook on the top to hang from. It's really big.. The pictures are it sitting on the back of my tail gate. Looks like its made from plaster. Great shape, has a few chips but the paint is vibrant and no cracks. So anyways I asked about the shoe, and he said $40 but I didn't have that much on me after buying the bikes.. so told him I'd walk around and come back to get the bikes in a bit.
So I came back to get the bike, he still had the shoe.. I told him that I'd give him $40 in a heartbeat if he had Paypal.. Sure enough, he had Paypal so a deal was struck!! Really great guy, he has a few other bikes at home that I might get one day. But check this thing out!!
Oh! Also I bought a rear Nascar tire from Richard Petty's Car! For $5
