The fork looks like a non springer fork, with a springer front and trusses

That springer is definitely odd. Good luck with your restoration, I have some DX parts laying around somewhere if you're in need. I think I have an original sprocket and cranks as well as a chainguard from a '48.

Picked up a chainguard and crank and sprocket at the Eden N.C. swap meet. The fork is part of a springer and a fork.It will be replaced with a springer. Terry

Started today. Got it disassembled and started stripping the paint.

This is what I used to strip the paint.

Frame is stripped.

Got the fenders stripped today.
Ready for primer.

After spraying with etch primer.

Now I need to do some body work on the fenders. Small dings
