orig silver bikes?

were any old bikes in the 50-60's pinted silver from the factory.
I have one I can't get a good I.D. on that looks like it was silver then painted red. thanks

The silver was probably a base coat for the red. Post more picture of the whole bike.

I have a few bikes with a silver base coat. Gives a better look than modern "metallic" paints I think.
