26" BMX build

Still working on this! I finally found a matching 26"x2.125 Ukai rim in silver. It only took about 2 years! I laced a Surley hub into the back and a no name MTB hub in the front. I still need to trim the fork, add a brake cable and I should be good to go. Eventually I need to get the old clear off of the frame and shine it up.

I'll have to try a an Aluminum BMX Conversion Next. Here are a few Steel ones I've done.

And a Close up of the cog rebuilt to a single speed with guides to keep the chain on path.

Took it for a ride last night. It rides nice except that my huge tires rub the cable on the rear brake. Just enough to be annoying! Smaller dia tires are in order I guess. Nice job Sinner4! Thanks Dingo.

No, actually I tore it apart to polish the frame. Hope to have it back together soon.
