quick question about a sissy bar

ok I have a schwinn banana seat and a non schwinn sissy bay,,it is to wide and does not bend in the meet the seat...any ideas on how to attach it to the seat?

seat clamps, they fit around the sissy bar and attach to the seat. I may have a pair you can have for shipping.

I had a bjke as a kid that had nylon spacers, about a 1/2 inch thick. But washers and longer bolts should do the trick.
