the pedal brake plate says J.C. Higgins.
Arnold Schwinn seat clamp.
no headbadge.
i dont know if the front wheel matches the rear.

On the one hand it has some pre-war looking parts; rims, cranks and so forth. but on the other hand the rear drop outs look post war. Could be a hodge podge of parts and frame that someone had on hand that they threw together. I gotta hand it to you though, it's got nice patina!
 
I gotta hand it to all of ya for the puns.....pun intended. It seems like humor and building bikes goes hand in hand.........had to throw it in.
 
yeah when i took a closer look the tires are different but the wheels i believe are the same. sprocket looks western flyer to me. i also managed to find a bike liscence plate from the early 60s for it and a brand new old stock stem that was the same. i hope its nice tomorrow and i will take some new pics. shes a cruiser.
