I tell you what, I've got a pretty cool wife!
This is our (3rd) anniversary weekend and she made our traveling plans around going to this meet.
She's looking foward to this as much as I am!

Heading out tomorrow, staying in Cleburne for the weekend, so we can be at the swap relatively early on Sat.
Turns out a lot of folks in our group aren't going after all (various reasons), too bad but less competition!
Looks like a great weekend for it!

Had a good time at the swap meet today. Met a few forum members and was able to sell about $250 worth of parts that were collecting dust in the garage.

was sad I missed it, but my wife was really sick and I need to take care if things...oh well. You didn't see any 26x1-3.8" white or cream tires or any good saddles, did ya?

I bought the 50's Higgins tank bike from Okie (14th pic, bike on the end), it came with some nice Electra rims. I think I'll pretty much leave it as is.
Bought some misc. other stuff, too.
The wife and I had a good time.

Here's a better pic of what i came home with.

So far, the only thing I've done to it was to change the pedals to some less crunchy versions.

My buddy and I made it out there and had a great time. Got a chance to meet Steve(RatRod) and picked up a few goodies including a seat for my spaceliner, tank for my trike, and a few front pieces for some tanks. Can't wait to do it again next year!

Lots of cool bikes. The motorized Higgins and the front wheel drive BMX are crazy.
