So I'm gonna build up my recently acquired 24 inch Hawthorne. I think it's late fourties/early fifties vintage. I'm gonna run these 24 inch mountain bike wheels on it, I have a cool Simplex stick shifter, and it's gonna have apes. Not sure about fenders yet... Also still trying to decide whether or not it'll have a banana seat or a regular saddle... Here's what I'm starting with...

Well, I haven't done anything except tear that bike down, and I started to modify a stingray triple tree fork for it, but then life happened. Working more, while taking a 14% paycut, and trying to find other ways to make ends meet, two of my sister-in-laws have asked me to build bikes for them... Cars breaking down, man it gets busy being a grown up sometimes... I'll see if I can finish it, but it doesn't look like it. Maybe I'll switch bikes real quick and enter one of the schwinns I've been doing a rustoration on for the past month... But I'm probably not gonna finish this one in time...
