Add a little brown and caramel color to your stain and some very strong smell, and it could pass for a creosote covered beam. Boy, that stuff is nasty. We covered hundreds of feet of board walk with it back in the '80s to protect it from the bogs below and the wet forest and damp air off the south shore of Gitchie-gumee. I'm sure I have some brain damage from those days.

Are you sure you don't want to rat-ina the hardware some? Mix up a little home brewed rust mix, and go for it!

Keeping some shine, you should talk...all that glitz from the patina master. Anyway they all need some bling.

I mounted up the warning triangle. 91 muggy degrees today at present.

The I roughed out a front bumper with an old broom stick and 1/8”x1-1/4” flat bar.

After mounting the warning triangle and mocking up the bumper I took some shots to experiment with overall visual effects.
Still need to add finish to chainguard, recut one tie rod, find wider rear tire (have 3.0” wide space), finish up steering control, add front light(s?) and effects, fix final hood mount rod and maybe other stuff.
Lots of time...getting hot here so morning work in order.

The fender makes the tire look small. I’ve got 3” clearance at the lower chain stays. Have a 2.5” tire in mind to fit the rear.
The bumper is about the simplest thing in the whole build...KISS principle at work.

There’s been numerous comments about tractor style tread or aggressive knobby style tires. The 20’s I had ordered for the front ended up being out of stock so we agreed on the substituted Husky smoother tread tread.
Now I’m thinking to reduce rolling resistance I’ll try a smoother tread 2.50” wide tire on back. The fender will basically hide the tread anyway.
I’ve used these Sunlite Sandy Beach tires on other builds. They measure out at around 2.35” inflated.

There’s also a Sunlite Revolution tire available spec’d at 2.50” which come in at almost 2.50”.
Both are all black with no graphics or color. And this Trike-Tor is a hybrid after all.
The David Bradley walk behinds used various style tires.

Add a upward "V" to the boom to put some wood/hay/tall grass?

Playing with steering wheel bar options today.

The wide half moon pair would probably provide the best control. Thinking I like the looks of the interwoven pair.
Feel free to chime in...

Need to do a test ride I guess. Weather app says it feels like 94 degrees.

How about the steering knob/handle thing in the end of the bars? Maybe one each side. Would require some fab work I inagine.
