Started out as a early 50s Roadmaster tank Bike with a nice thick coat of house paint. Did a blindfold Wet sanding technique. Kept running my hand over the frame and sanding till the finish was smooth to the touch. I tried Keep my thoughts and ideas of what makes a Ratrod a Ratrod during the build. The Bike is made up of Roadmaster, Cleveland Welding, AMF, Colson, Schwinn, Vans, Diamond Chain, Center pieces made by me, Tractor headlight modified with a microwave safe bowl, delta taillight mounted to the chainguard, Converted to skip tooth.
Lagniappe is a French word meaning “a little extra”. This build has plenty of Lagniappe. I Enjoy the event. Congratulations to all who cross that line.

Great mix of rat parts! Looks like a good rider too.

I really like the 6th photo, 3rd from the bottom. It shows off the lines of the bike, and all those curves up against that wrought iron fence, I like the juxtaposition.

That's a Latin and English combination meaning "to place (different things) side by side as to compare them or contrast them or to create an interesting effect." ;)

Another quality build from N.Kildare.

Great job on the bike. You really nailed it with this build. When I lived down south, outside of New Orleans, Lagniappe was a popular word. When buying some cracklin from the Cajuns they would dump some in a paper sack then add a little more and say "and there a little Lagniappe for ya". Haha, great cracklin and great people.

Laissez les bons temp rouler
Let the good times roll

Thank you.

This really turned into a killer rat rod hot rod!!! I love so much about this build.
BRAVO!!!!! Well Done.

Also great Finished Thread promoting the killer bike that you spent the last 4 months building!

You probably already know this, but Don't forget that when the Voting thread is created we will use the first pic from your Finished thread. I'm not suggesting anything is wrong with the current pic, just making sure everyone knows.
