This has been one of the best projects I’ve picking up in a very long time. It has brought me back to an awesome and very fond times from my youth. I am so stoked about finally completing it and enjoying many long rides and memories to be made.

Never been a fan of these frames, but what you're doing with this one is changing my mind. Nice work man, can't wait to see it progress!

Thanks Ty! I appreciate the compliment. She’s so close to finished. Fingers crossed!

It really is some of THE MOST fun I’ve ever had with my clothes on! No doubt I now have a new obsession. [emoji23] lol

You've got the bug! I enjoy working on classic cars / vans and motorcycles A LOT... but I think I spend just as much time playing with bicycles. Haha! They're simple, gratifying, and most of all nostalgic. I think that's part of it for most of us, takes us back to that simpler time when we were young and spent our days exploring with our friends, and our main means of travel were bikes or skateboards! As an adult it's even more fun because we have access to things we couldn't afford or weren't allowed to play with.:21: Welcome to the club... again ;) :thumbsup:

Okay, just keep in mind I have NEVER welded before....
Here is my first attempt.
:: WARNING ::
NOT pretty. I tried.

More touch ups to come. Keep watching folks....
‘Til next time.

Just remember: "A grinder and paint make a welder what he aint..."

Practice makes perfect man, everyone starts out like that.
Looks to me like you could possibly use some more amps, but the more important thing is to get yourself comfortable and your elbow supported if you can to help you keep steady, looks like you might have been bouncing around a bit.

Looks like MIG with gas, or is it gasless wire?

MiG w/ gas. Temp was set too high also. I burn through on the frame a bit. Fixed it tonight. Looking much better today.
We learned to crawl before we walk. One day one step at a time. [emoji106]

Sissy bar well on it’s way. Need to make some adjustments and hit the blast cabinet.
