Aaah yes, those things. I had the same sort of system on my first 10-speed. It was cool that you could shift while coasting, but I don't know if there were any other benefits. Lately, whenever I see a diamond frame, I want to make it into a fixie -Mp xkcd #386
Ooh! That's a very tempting offer Very tempting indeed! Hmmmmmm..... Do you have the original wheelset? I suspect it may already have a fixed gear cluster on the back. If it does, you could swap out the front freewheel for a standard crankset, remove the derailleurs and presto! Instant fixie! -Mp xkcd #386
got the headlight mounted but its still not working...
![]() ![]() got most of the dents pounded out of the chainguard and reinstalled it. Looks like it was bent in half at one time

I found that the water transfers come off with some cleaners 409(dissolve) or waxes. If not those, swipe em with acetone and couple minutes later, give em another gentle wipe. They should just kinda disappear.
Tire clearance is a terrible thing to waste.
