That's a beautiful bike at a killer price! I'm gonna have my buddy come by later and check these pictures out if it's still available. However, I don't believe Schwinn started producing Middleweights until 1955, so that would likely make this bike a 56?

Great bike and my favorite color! First year for Tigers was 1955 I believe and I think that's what this bike is. The frame serial number date code is not an accurate date of the bike, it just states when the frame was made and is quite often up to a year earlier than the bike was assembled for sale. My '57 Jag has a date of March 1956 but the Mark II's first year was 1957.
