Finally got some time to work on the build! Laced up a rear wheel tonight, she now has a 3 speed, but with no coaster brake I am gonna but a drum brake in the front. :D

love some of the ideas you are coming up with. Are you sure you shouldn't use a ladies frame since you're gonna half to wear a kilt with this.

no other chrome rims look better than a drop center with a blackwall on it.

great job , you did something i have not perfected , i tried that once and made a big mess , great job and your bike looks super cool !!!!

Thanks guys! I am not a huge fan of chrome but I figured a healthy balance of chrome and rust would do for this bike! Seems I need to invest in a kilt too, I own a lot of plaid but not skirts lol

Wheel work is really the most difficult part of bicycle work! A lot of the cruiser guys in my area can do everything to a bicycle imaginable but wheel work, keeps me employed though :D I work at a bike shop so this wasn't my first rodeo, it is all just a really big puzzle...that can go terribly wrong with one misplaced spoke lol

I wouldn't say to bad for a cheap box of hose clamps and a bent aluminum piece!
