I came so close to buying one of those Lawill forks back in 93 but opted for a Rockshock instead, wrong decision...

never going to leave my hands again.

24x3 Felt Thick Brick to keep the front end low. in all the hot rod mags you always see big slicks in the back and skinny tires in the front. i wanted to replicate this look and a 26" wheel with a Sulky tire didnt look right. it raised the front end too much.

Old Chris King headset i had stashed away, you never sell them. as you can see its too short. that is a seat collar to keep the fork from falling out until my part arrives next week to lengthen the steerer.

Thanks for all the kind words.

The fork weighs in the 3lb range. It's very light and will help me keep the weight of the bike down. My rear rack will thank me.

I also like the aluminum, but I plan on painting it.

here is my Hubs, Sturmey Archer internal 8 speed with 70mm drum fro the rear. Front is a 90mm drum. no discs this year i want to keep it clean looking.
