That fork is amazing, but have you thought about flipping it around so that it has a inverse curve? Just a thought.

Re: STREET SURVIVOR fabed springer bridge 5/6

Postby tin machine on Sun May 06, 2012 8:28 am

put together this springer bridge today , used part of the original emory stem and just welded a washer on to it ,welded from both sides for strength, to recieve the fork tube . Image Image

Looking great! I was making a mock springer, but I may try to make one that actually works.

I also have a SA HD 3 speed w coaster from a woman's Emory, and also from 84. It's on my CWC bike and shifts perfectly. Girls never tear up their bikes.

Well, it could be if it gets in the way of worshipping

Nice work on the springer brother  . That Emory fork looks almost like a Tange or Akisu

thanks this springer does work but i am a little concerned about , were the springs meet the bridge fork (green fork) , i have a 3/8 bolt running thru 3/8 sleaves bolted at the top this is a heavy duty compression spring, and upon impact it has travel !! and rebounds outward, also can pivot at the bottom, the finished springer these will be grade 8 bolts with a shoulder with rubber gromits on the bottom for shock ,and noise control
