I ran something over after the ride last week :x Brand new tube, got a whole hours use out of it. I haven't had time to order a new one yet, but I had the bike out so I thought I'd snap some pics.

Update: Cant get the New Departure to quiet down, so I found a 1960 Perry 100 hub. Just rebuilt a 1954 version of this hub on my Roadmaster and love it.

As found:

Looks great!

Nothing like a lot of grease to protect the chrome for 50 years

Agreed...I wasn't sure what I was going to find under all that grease, glad it was chrome though 8)

Got the wheel trued, this hub has a 20 tooth rear cog, so I had to buy a half link. Worked perfect and its easier to pedal now. Bike is smooth and quiet now!

Again, great bike :!: Just enough of each color and just enough chrome to set it all off 8) 8) This would easily get one of my votes in the RRBBO since I can't stop admiring it whenever an update pops up.Very well done :!: Can't wait to see what you have in store for the build-off.
