That's weird. They probably kept all the $7.5 ordered tires instead and they will put them up for sale next month at $15 or more each.

They told me I would get a free t-shirt. I don't want a dumb t-shirt!  I did get free ice cream today. That wasn't too bad.

I too got the "we so sorry" e-mail, so I am only getting one pair, but I'll take a free t-shirt.

Ok my two cents worth I work in service parts sales for a heavy equipment manufacturer. This was the weekend and I am sure there system forecasted sales once the stock depleted the system generated a new order and let the next round of sales go thru. This stocking point should have been turned off once the tires went on clearance (human error). To be fair 95% of the sales where most likely generated thru this and maybe a couple other sites. I bet they are in awe of the number of orders placed between Friday and Monday. I too am disappointed but find it hard to be pissed, it was an honest mistake. Yes it would be nice to have been one of the people who got the deal but.. Let’s face it 75% off was close out bargain basement price and the numbers had to be limted. I am sure someone is setting on multiple sets waiting to make a buck. That’s OK too it’s what America is all about. Again my two cents

Im at a bit of a loss here folks are mad bc the company ran out of tires that they were getting at 75% off. If people were so interested in these they should of have bought them when they were 30 buck. If not make the offer to some of the people for 30 bucks and I bet a few will sell they ones they had no plans for.

Some times you win and some times you loose that's life. I think what felt is doing if pretty good giving you a free shirt for the inconvience. They could have just canceled orders refunded the transaction and not called anyone back. Each missed order is probably costing them about 20 bucks. They are giving away free a shirt ,shipping and employee time to make a call.

I had a much different experience with Electra on a failed product they did not even aknowledge the emails or phone calls, now that is crap customer service. Hence the reason I will not buy another new Electra product, Nor would I recommend the brand and I have a bunch of bikes.

One their behalf, they did respond quickly when I voiced my concern over the fact that I had heard nothing one way or the other about my order. No tires, but I do get a free t-shirt. Hey, computers aren't infallible, remember the HAL 9000?

They are not that heavy, they just calculate weight at 12lbs for shipping.

I bet you almost decided not use them after all.

I called Felt and I was really mad, I mean really mad. I says, "Where's my stinking tires?"

They said, "You didn't ordered any tires."

I said, "So you're saying I ain't getting any tires?"

They said, "But you didn't order any tires, so no, you aren't getting any tires."

I said, "Well then, I better be getting one of them free t-shirts."

"Why would we send you a free t-shirt," they replied.

"Because I ain't getting the tires!" I said.

"But you didn't order any tires so you weren't ever getting any tires," they said.

"Exactly," said I, "You aren't sending me tires, so I should get a free t-shirt like everyone else."

"But the other people ordered tires," they said.

"Are they getting those tires?" I asked.

"No, they aren't, and that is why they are getting a free t-shirt," they said.

"Right, and I ain't getting any tires either, so I want my free-t-shirt too," I yelled. "And I probably should get two of 'em now because of your attitude!"

"We are not sending you a t-shirt," they said. "You have to order tires and then not get them to get a free t-shirt."

"Do you have any of those tires?" I asked.

"No," they said, "We ran out of those tires."

"If you ain't got none of them tires, then how am I going to order them?" I asked.

"You can't, because we don't have any," they replied--rather snippily too, I might add.

"Then just send me the free t-shirt, and cut out all the quibbling over the tires you don't have and won't send me because you ain't got none so I couldn't order them anyways," I said.

"Sir, we are not sending you a free t-shirt," they said.

"Fine, "I said, "Then I'm not ordering any of those tires from you."

"You can't order the tires. We don't have any," they said.

"Right," I said, "I'm not getting any tires, so just send the free t-shirt."

"Sir," they said, "We are not sending you anything."

"Your customer service really stinks!" I yelled, and then I hung up on them.

I ain't ever buying anything from those guys again.
