One of my favorite flips was a Sept 1964 Schwinn StingRay I sold 2 years ago.
I bought an old Raleigh Twenty from a englishman that thought it belonged in a museum. I had to pay a hard fought $75 for it. A few weeks later he told me he found the chainguard for it, so I went out to his house. He had some other newer bikes that he wanted new prices for, but I saw a red bike hanging upside down in the back. We took it down and he sold it to me for $15.

Below is what it looked like when I got it home. The only thing I did was pull the electrical tape off of the seat and posted some photos and ended up selling it to a happy collector to round out his set of three different model 1964s. He paid me $500 for it.

Jake, someone bit on my "Do you have any adult bikes for sale?" yard sale question. Looks like am getting an adult trike and a cruiser tomorrow morning for three Jacksons. I want to do a chopper trike bad (and not a OCC chopper). Wish me luck. Deals are rolling in faster than I can do anything with them.

Picked this ladies (unisex) Nirve cruiser that has a bad red paint job, but nice green rims and a faux leather seat and grips. The tires have a little dry rot, but they have a funky flower tread.

I picked up this Western Flyer Trike along with the Nirve cruiser for three Jacksons.
I am thinking this may become a chopper trike with a Nirve Clutch kids chopper frame I have.

Just sold the $60 Trek 7200 for $330 right after I ordered this old Elgin from yeshoney. Basically that makes the Elgin free with over $200 to spare.
I am looking forward to recieving this bike. It will be my first pre-war bike ever.
I may put the Onyx 29er wheels on it for fun!

I got that exact Trek (only in burgandy/silver) out of someone's trash, it was REAL rough, it's the frame I'm using for my SS MTB, using 26" Araya wheels and an old Tange rigid fork, gotta figure out what to do about rear breaks since the bike is set up for 700s.

Love that Hardrock, I could probably sell that here for about, $50, if I was lucky. haha

I cleared $270 profit on the Trek and $170 profit on the Hardrock. Not bad for a $100 combined investment.

Sold a Boston Whaler bow rail for $150 and I paid $10 for it. So I am using part of the profit to buy this cool early 50s Huffman Custom Liner from kickbackcycles along with a cool hood ornament. Otherwise this weekend was a total dud for any yard sale finds.

To me that looks like a 50's huffy and a 40's snyder springer fork used one the 41 Hawthorne comets and such.
