Found a way-cool Mafac Racer caliper at an out-of-town bike shop this weekend; it's going into the build. The only kicker is that I'm putting the caliper in an unusual place to make it less visible.

That's the idea. That's also why I went looking for an old centerpull; the sidepull caliper I had looked like it might have an occasional conflict with my left heel.

As cool as this caliper is, it might end up on top of the bottom frame tubes so it can be seen. It'll get mocked up both ways, then I'll decide.
