Very nice! I saw those on the Museum and lusted over them for a bit. If I could only find a red set that nice...

Looking great!

What's your plan for stem, cranks, pedals and bars?

Breaking News!

This Just in...Literally! My Pro Neck II came in the mail about 30 min ago.

I’m using Hutch bars...getting Hutch bear trap pedals and not sure about cranks yet. I Know for sure I want a 3 piece 8)

These are just temporary AME grips. I have B1B's on the way...

Oh don't worry...i'm a good bit from that point. I sit back and wait for the deals to come then grab them. Also I try not to buy mint parts. The wheels are the only mint piece of the bike. I like to put some elbow grease into parts I buy. That's what helps save me big bucks.

I saw those grips too, they were a good price, i'm glad you snatched them up. I wonder why Oakley stopped making grips? I know that they made some in a limited release, but they should go back in the grip business.
But then again, I could be totally wrong.

The Oakleys only set me back $100!!! At auction they would probably bring $175-$200!

I had a set of yellow and blue Oakley F-1's, I got rid of them on one of my bikes a while ago, I would have gave them to you for shipping cost  Well anyway, the bike looks SWEET 8) Can't wait to see it done :D
Wake up every morning wondering what new bike I'll find!

Very cool! That's what I love about RatRodBikes.... the diversity. Old School BMX, vintage British style path racers, super rats, full customs, and everything else that is cool. I'll be following this one to see the progression. Cool project, Tyler!

This is really a clean bike in person, takes me back.....

BTW, after knowing what you have to pay for the vintage BMX stuff, if you EVER hear me saying "Maybe I'll build a little puddle jumper", please shoot me (before my wife does!)

Cool thing is, I can always come over and ride yours! Thanks pal!

Just in case you worried about getting your $$$ back some day.
