Start your RRB Build Off Journal here!
Headlight and taillights mounted.
Six pack mocked up
I don't know if anyone noticed before, but I had the headlight brcacket mounted to the springer bolt. Not a very good idea. This made the bracket loose every time the spring sprung. Rookie mistake.
Okay, a mistake, you'll correct....BUT! There ain't nothing "rookie" about this build...NICE!
MY INTRO/BIKES ... WHEEL WE EVER BE SATISFIED?

I Think Therefore- I Rat -Jake Sensi
Thanks Kota, guess I meant newbie rat builder. I have been flippin and working on bikes for a while, but this is my first rat build. After admiring all of the other cool builds on this site for awhile, it makes it easier to think outside the box.
Maybe I will start flipping rat bikes now????!!!!!
Your build is absolutely crazy. You have a great imagination. Keep it up and have one on me.
The day you stop learning is the day you step foot in the grave.
Mocking up a six pack for the back of my BEER RUN bike. I wasn't pleased with the first pass, but the second run will look good.
Here is a sneak peak at the six beers that will be available in the Rat Rod Bikes Buld Off Beer Sampler Pack.
RRB BO 1 - Iron Ghost Springer Seat Wheat
RRB BO 2 - Ratty Truck 40W Stout
RRB BO 3 - Madd Hops Hammer Brown Ale
RRB BO 4 - Galt Town Brooligan Dubbel Carb Porter
RRB BO 5 - SSV Suppernaut Lead Sled Dunkel
RRB BO 6 - Beer Run Longtail Longshot Lager
Cool labels. What an honor it would to be to have a beer named for a RRBBO winning bike. Cool.
Now Im really thirsty, gotta go jump on a bike and ride to the local pub for a beer.
turn off the TV and turn on your life.......... Make Something Happen!!
Fabricated my "water" bottle holder tonight out of a Fosters Beer Can.
Cut the top off and insterted some galvanize strapping in the top and folded the upper inch of the can over it.
Cut down an old water bottle holder and attached it to the can with rivets and screws.
Covered the folded can with aluminum tape and then lined the inside of the can with foam insulation.
I decided to go the easy way on monting it to the bike. I just used ring clamps to mount it to the handlebar stem.
It is actually at a great angle for accessing my "Water" bottle while riding.
Here is a peak at my RRB Brewery Six Pack as well.
Your bike looks so fun.
I like the way you put it together
Your theme is everywhere.
You stole my bullhorn trick (that I hadn't done yet )
It looks great.
I hope it's a smooth ride. Don't shake up the beer!
Thanks. I came across the bullhorns at a swap meet and knew they would look great as cruiser bars.
very cool build
i am honored love the bike and looks way more comfortable to ride than mine

Karfer, you are well deserving of being on two of the bottles in the RRB BO Commemorative Beer Sampler. I haven't gotten around to doing the bottle labels yet, but will sometime this weekend. I also need to make the bike chain 6 pack tie downs. If I had enough old beer cans, I could have done them with pull tabs.
It's not all about how comfortable a bike is, it's also about how cool you look getting there.
Here are some better shots of the Foster's can. I had to remove the foam insulation so the my oversized opaque "water" bottle would fit.
Maybe I should have mounted a pony keg or party ball on the back with a feeder tube to the rider?
