took the trike apart this morning for final weld cleanup and paint. Here it is before the teardown...

Image

I also made the bumper today! need to do final welding and polish it to bolt on.

Image

got some undercoating which I will be using on the bottom of the bed and inside. threw it on the bottom to see how it looked. patience required to not let it run!

Image

little bit of body work on the welds and hopefully I can get some paint on tomorrow! Friday is closing in fast!

Unfortunately this trike won't be mine for much longer... It's been promised to a local Flagstaff Brewery as their beer bike. It will make it's debut this friday night and also hit the Saturday bike parade.

So now on to progress! The only thing left to do tomorrow is to sand the stake sides and clear coat the wood. Took it for a ride around the neighborhood tonight and I'm kind of bummed I said I'd sell it. My technique for detailed masking is revealed below and the finished pictures from my sunset ride are at the bottom.

Hey Wacko, very nice job! 8)
You got custom, classic, and hot-rod all rolled into one. Too bad it had to go, but it looks like it has a good “home” and a happy new owner.

Nice job. Makes me miss mind. Time to dust it off and take it for a ride.
