Couldn't keep my eyes off this one.
Another Exciting Chicago Monthly Ride in the books, I could have done without losing the idler wheel on the rear derailuer, but we were headed to the right place. Cycle Smitty .http://www.mybusinesslisting.com/r/url.asp?u=d3d3LmN5Y2xlc21pdGh5LmNvbQ==
Mike, the owner, was great! He met us at the front door, welcomed us in and graceously walked us thru his collection. The entire time pointing out to the smallest detail what made each significant. The shop had customers in and out ready to spend some serious coin, Mike still took the time talk to us about his collection. After the tour he put a new idler wheel on, and diagnosed that I should install a polished cable for the rear drum. Cost ? Derailuer fixed and a new 108 inch cable ?10 bucks. The coffe across the street was $4.00.
